A MOUSE race helped to raise thousands of pounds for a Nailsea charity.
The patter of little paws could be heard as the animals raced around the track in the unusual grand prix, organised by the Masqueraders Carnival Club.
The event, which was held in the Masonic Hall in Nailsea, raised more than 2,270 for the MS Therapy Centre.
Banking giant Santander has pledged to match the total raised on the night which means 4,540 will be donated to the cause.
Staff at the centre would like to thank all the businesses which supported the event and everyone who turned up on the night.
