A motorbike ride in memory of a husband who died on the Portbury Hundred will be held again later this month.

The annual tribute to David Loudon, known as Jock to many, will be held on February 26.

It is nine years since he died in a crash on the busy route connecting Portishead and the M5.

The fundraiser, organised by his wife Kath, will see money raised for Cancer Research UK.

Friends, family and biking enthusiasts are being urged to take part and the family hopes for a record turnout.

Riders will meet at the Homebase car park in Portishead at 10am ahead of an hour’s ride which will end at Clevedon seafront.
