A DONATION of more than 2,000 has been made to a Wraxall children’s charity.

Members of the Wraxall Freemason’s Lodge have donated a total of 2,175 to Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW), which runs Charlton Farm in Wraxall.

CHSW community fund-raiser Louise Turner is pictured receiving two cheques from worshipful master Martin Brooks, lodge information officer Bob Swift and provincial information officer John Cole.

Bob Swift said: “Since 1984, the Freemason’s Grand Charity has awarded nearly 9million to hospices throughout England and Wales.

“We wish to pay tribute to the dedicated care that hospices in Somerset provide in the community, and we are delighted to demonstrate our support for these services in this way.”
