A Pill–based cancer charity will be holding a Mary Poppins-themed afternoon tea this spring.

Penny Brohn’s Practically Perfect Afternoon Tea takes place on May 18, in a marquee in the gardens at the charity’s centre in Chapel Pill Lane.

The charity promise a ‘supercalifragilistic
expialidocious afternoon of tea, finger sandwiches, cake, scones and lots of fun, as well as guest speakers and an auction.’

Emma Gilmore, head of events at Penny Brohn said: “This year we want to make the event bigger and better and will be treating our guests to a delicious afternoon tea which will be practically perfect in every way.

“Why not treat your mum this Mother’s Day, and help us raise money to support more people living with cancer?”

Tickets priced £35, are available from pennybrohn.org.uk/perfecttea or call 01275 370073.
