DANCING, singing, art and craft pieces and plenty of delicious food filled the centre of Nailsea on Saturday.

Nailsea farmers’ and craft markets put on extra entertainment to mark the start of Made in North Somerset – a festival of local producers, art and craft.

Shoppers in Crown Glass Shopping Centre and Somerset Square could choose from an array of fresh food including produce, jam, meat, bread and cakes as well as jewellery, paintings and wooden gifts at the markets.

Folk duo Rob the Rich and members of the McClennan School of Irish Dancing entertained shoppers as they browsed the many stalls and displays.

The Made in North Somerset festival runs until October 7.
