Macmillan Cancer Support will be taking its mobile support unit to Clevedon this week.

The charity is urging people to be aware of the early signs of breast cancer to coincide with Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

More than 40,000 people across England are diagnosed with the illness every year.

The mobile service will visit Clevedon’s Queen Square from 10am-4pm on Wednesday and Weston’s High Street the following day at the same times.

Macmillan support specialist Mary Mountford-Lister said: “The mobile team helps with any questions you may have about any type of cancer, whether it’s about you, a relative or friend.”
