A TWO-CAR crash on the M5 closed the motorway southbound this lunchtime (Fri) between Clevedon and Portishead.
The accident, at 11.50am, blocked the middle lane and left debris scattered across the road according to an Avon and Somerset police spokesman.
The road was closed for nearly an hour after a black 4x4 and a Ford Mondeo collided. There were no reported injuries.
