M5 accident causing traffic at rush hour

Commuters face rush hour traffic due to an accident on the M5 northbound this evening (Wednesday).
There are reports of a collision between Weston-super-Mare and Clevedon, and debris on the road.
Traffic is getting through via the hard shoulder, but there are already delays of 30 minutes.
Highways England is urging people to allow extra time for their journeys this evening.
There is congestion on the M5 southbound between Clevedon (junction 20) and Weston (junction 21).
Normal traffic conditions are expected to resume between 5.45-6pm.
There are currently delays of 15 minutes expected.
Traffic is building up along the A370 in Hewish, Congresbury and Yatton as a result of the early accident on the M5.
Traffic on the motorway still remains delayed both northbound and southbound between Weston (junction 21) and Clevedon (junction 20).
