Staff at a Clevedon store have hosted a 12-hour cycle to support a liver disease charity.

The M&S Simply Food shop at the BP garage in Tickenham Road hosted the event as part of a campaign being run among 14 stores from Wales to Gloucester to raise £10,000 for the Children’s Liver Disease Foundation (CLDF).

As well as the static cycle, staff held a raffle with a variety of great prizes to give away.

Lucky shoppers walked away with items including Bristol City Football Club tickets, a cinema voucher and chocolates.

Money raised from the campaign will allow the CLDF to achieve things like paying for 50 people to receive advice and support, to funding a family residential unit housing 100 parents and young people.
