A GENEROUS Clevedon man has donated money to a children’s charity in the town.

At the end of each year for the past four years, Alexander Dainty has donated the loose change he has saved up to Springboard Opportunity Group, which has a base in Princes Road and supports children under the age of five with additional needs and disabilities.

This year his donation totalled £371, which was used to buy new chairs for the playroom.

Springboard’s promotions officer Gareth Powell said: “We are extremely to Mr Dainty and all our supporters. We couldn’t continue to do the work we do without their generosity.”
