People flocked to a Thai New Year’s festival to celebrate the annual event in their droves at the weekend.
Those who attended Songkran could enjoy making decorative necklaces, try the country's cuisine among other activities at the Long Ashton Community Centre on Sunday.
Families could attend a Dhamma talk, go to an almsgiving and blessing service, including a Buddha image bathing ceremony.
The afternoon offered people the chance to watch Thai dancing, a boxing show and music – plus take part in a raffle and lucky-dip.
The festival was organised by The Thai Buddhist South West Trust and the festival raised money in aid of the restored Wat Phra Sri Sanphet temple in Ayutthaya, Thailand.
The Bristol-based charity raises awareness of Theravada Buddhism and Thai culture and operates across the South West.
