Help Bristol’s Homeless (HBH) is hosting a Christmas fair in Long Ashton this Saturday.

People can browse a selection of more than 30 stalls at the Long Ashton Community Centre in Keedwell Hill this weekend.

Father Christmas’ grotto, a converted horse box pizza van and a mulled wine bar will be there to greet people visiting on the day.

Its the organisers’ first year of hosting the event – and they have high hopes for its success in the village.

Organiser for HBH, Kate Bolton, said: “I cannot wait and I am so excited to get the fair up and running.

“We have never done anything like this before – and I think my husband will be glad to have his office back because its full of things we need for the fair.”

HBH in Bristol provides temporary six to 12-month accommodation for homeless people in the city.

The event will take place at the community centre on Saturday from 3.30-7pm.
