Hundreds of people are set to gather at Long Ashton’s Beer and Cider Festival 2018 this weekend.

The village’s sixth annual beer and cider festival will be held this Saturday, and Grizzly And The Bear are set to headline the event.

Live music, entertainment and beers and cider from the area will be on offer during the afternoon and evening, including beverages from Cheddar Ales, Butcombe Brewery and Weston’s Pitchfork Ales.

Other drinks on offer come from the Good Chemistry Brewery in Bristol, Barley Wood Orchard in Wrington and many more.

Event organiser Clive Donoghue said: “All profits raised from the day will go to Long Ashton’s Community Centre, and we managed to raise £1,400 last year.”

The event will take place this Saturday from 4-10pm at Long Ashton’s village hall in Keedwell Hill.

Tickets, priced £10, are available from Long Ashton’s Post Office in Weston Road.
