A PORTISHEAD marine trekked 100 miles across Devon and Dorset to raise money for charity.
James Reddrop, aged 32, and eight of his friends from the Royal Marines carried a 40kg log along the Jurassic coast for two days and managed to raise more than 4,000.
James, also know as Reggie, took on the challenge to raise money for the British Heart Foundation as his two-year-old daughter Grace suffers from a heart defect.
Reggie would like to thank Handy Labels for designing the posters for the appeal, Commando Fit for supporting the event and Gent Transport who donated a large amount to the cause.
The money will go to the foundation’s Mending Broken Hearts appeal.
