Volunteers who supported a life-saving charity were invited to tour its new headquarters.
Clevedon Lions members visited the recently-opened base of Great Western Air Ambulance Charity (GWAAC) near the Almondsbury Interchange near Bristol.
GWAAC moved to a new home a year ago after its Filton base was deemed no longer fit for purpose.
A public appeal for cash, which the Lions club supported, proved a huge success with £1.3million raised.
As reward for its help, the Lions club was given a guided tour of the facility, which attends hundreds of people who have suffered life-threatening injuries each year.
A Lions spokesman said members were pleased to see the result of its donations.
They said: "The visit was extremely informative and gave the opportunity to see how all the charitable donations are effectively used."
