Children can test their skills at plate-spinning, hula-hooping and tight-wire walking in Nailsea next week.

Lewis’ Fun Circus Skills Workshop will be running in Crown Glass Shopping Centre on Wednesday to entertain children during half term.

Families can take part in a variety of circus skills and have a go at stilt-walking, ribbon twirling, juggling, peacock feather balancing and poi.

Centre manager Martin Nelmes said: “We know how much local children enjoy the entertainment we organise for the centre and how keen they are to get
in on the act.

“Lewis’s Circus Skills workshops tick both boxes and knowing what Honeysuckle the Bee – our mascot – is like, I suspect she too will be trying to hula hoop and spin plates.”

Workshop sessions will run at 11.30am, 1pm and 3pm as part of the shopping centre’s wacky Wednesday programme.
