An 11-year-old girl from Nailsea organised a disco to raise money for an epilepsy support dog after her mum was diagnosed with the condition.
Lacey organised the event at Scotch Horn Leisure Centre and more than 120 people turned up to support the cause.
The dance raised £956 for Support Dogs which trains dogs to help people suffering from various medical conditions.
Lacey’s mum Katy Sell said: “All the money has gone to the Support Dogs for autism and epilepsy charity.
“We are not getting a dog, Lacey just wanted to raise money for the charity because it’s amazing what they can do with these dogs and because I have epilepsy and her brother Charlie has autism.
“I had my first seizure in April and got diagnosed with the epilepsy in June. Lacey is an amazing daughter and I am so proud of her. The fact she has organised this all by herself is unbelievable.”
