NIMBLE-FINGERED sheltered housing residents have been busy with their needles.
Those living in Alliance Homes accommodation across North Somerset have been busy knitting for charity.
Hundreds of blanket squares, hats, scarves and jumpers have been created for Knit-a-square.com, a charity that
supports children who have been orphaned through AIDS and extreme poverty.
To celebrate their hard work, Alliance Homes organised a get-together for all the knitters involved so they could share their accomplishments and enjoy a chat over tea and cake.
