A KNITATHON on Clevedon pier saw more than 170 raised toward a project to improve facilities at the seafront landmark.
Led by Sarah and David Harris from The Spinning Weal in Hill Road, a group of knitters from the local area, and as far afield as Oxford and Birmingham, got together to create a decorative piece to adorn the pier.
They knitted non-stop from 10am-6pm and collected donations from visitors during that time.
