VOLUNTEERS have been working around the clock to prepare Portishead for the judging of the South West in Bloom contest.
The judges will be taken on a tour of the town after a welcome party at the Folk Hall at 9am on Friday and members of Portishead in Bloom are appealing to members of the community to join the working parties tonight (Wed) and tomorrow to make sure the judges’ route is up to scratch. The groups will meet at The Precinct in High Street at 6.30pm on each of the days.
