PORTISHEAD Choral Society will soon begin a new season of rehearsals and is inviting new people to join the group.
The choir meets every Thursday at 7.30pm at St Joseph’s Church in West Hill.
Its repertoire has recently included Faure’s Requiem, Handel’s Messiah, Brahms German Requiem, and Puccini Messa de Gloria. The concert for Christmas 2011 will include Vivaldi’s Gloria and Requiem as well as Christmas carols.
Anyone wishing to join the group can go along to an early rehearsal, beginning on September 8.
