Organisers behind a health hub in Nailsea are still keen to hear from the public about what services they would like provided in the town.

In December last year, the Times announced exciting plans to set up a centre in Nailsea to help people with a wide range of medical and social issues.

The hub, dubbed Nailsea Place, would provide services which are not currently available but also bring together the organisations already based in the town.

The idea for the one-stop-shop was suggested by The Patients Association. Heather Eardley, from the association, said: “We would still like to hear people’s views about what’s needed.

“We are hoping to set up a pop-up event in the town so people can come to tell us their ideas.

“Nailsea Town Council has also set up a working party with a £12,000 budget to investigate various options for a building in the town centre as a base for Nailsea Place.”
