A charity is looking for the mystery winner of a £1,000 lottery ticket bought in Nailsea.

The lucky Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) lottery ticket was bought in the charity’s temporary shop at The Blue Room between January 25-31.

The charity has been trying to track the winner down on social media but the ticket holder has still not been found.

CHSW lottery officer Stephanie Charles said: “We’d love to be able to find our winner and let them know – it will make a great start to 2019 for someone.”

“Any prize money not claimed within three months of the draw date is donated directly back to the charity,”

The CHSW weekly lottery draw offers the chance to win one of 14 weekly prizes, including a top prize of £1,000.

The winning ticket was number 500597.

The owner of the winning £1,000 ticket should call the lottery helpline on 08456 888911 to claim their prize.
