HUNDREDS-OF-POUNDS were raised for charity by children, parents and staff at a Portbury school.
At St Mary’s Primary School fundraising activities were held to collect cash for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust in support of year six pupil Anya Davies, who has cystic fibrosis.
Pupils sponsored themselves to run laps of the field and people donated coins to cover giant C F letters in the playground.
The children also invited donations from parents at their performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
As a result, 531 has been given to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
