MEMBERS of Clevedon Freemasons have offered their support to Vision North Somerset by donating £500 to the charity.

Mason Malcolm Ashford met the charity’s chief executive, Celia Henshaw, at Vision’s Weston headquarters where he received a tour of the facilities, which are colour co-ordinated to help partially-sighted people see more clearly.

He also met staff members and spoke to them about their duties.

Malcolm said: “The donation has come directly from members’ pockets and it will be put towards the cost of Vision North Somerset’s volunteer expenses. It was most gratefully received.”

The Clevedon Freemasons meet in Albert Road.
