A HUMAN table football tournament provided family fun in the sunshine and raised money to help improve club facilities at Clarence House in Portishead.
The event, sponsored by Future Plumbing, attracted record crowds to the walled garden to support the refurbishment of the social club’s skittle alley and games room.
Nigel Foster, who runs Clarence House, said: “Sponsorship is still coming in and the fund has already topped the 1,000 mark. People have been very generous and they will benefit from the refurbishment.”
Understanding the tough economic climate, club members have vowed to help Nigel fund the games area overhaul.
