CLEVEDON’S bandstand will soon receive a fresh lick of paint thanks to a donation from a construction company.
Cotswold Homes, which is building new houses in Strode Road, has made a 500 contribution toward the renovation of the seafront structure.
This will go toward helping Clevedon Civic Society and North Somerset Council’s efforts to organise the redecoration and refurbishment of the Victorian bandstand in time for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
This could include the replacement of rotten panels and the creation of a new access for disabled people.
