A developer’s hope of turning a North Somerset pub into a hotel near Bristol Airport has been dashed.
A planning appeal to turn the Bungalow Inn into a hotel has been dismissed.
Planning permission was sought for a 36-bedroom complex, but the plan was first rejected by North Somerset Council last year.
However, the decision was appealed by the applicant and now it has been dismissed again by a planning inspector.
It was felt that the plan was inappropriate for a greenbelt site.
