Hot dinner nets 800

A CONCERT and homemade dinner held last month netted 800 for the Inner Wheel Club of Nailsea.

President Jo Perry organised the fundraiser at Tickenham Village Hall, where a 30-piece Cameo Orchestra performed a variety of music ranging from musicals to Abba.

Club spokesman Veronica Ackrill said: “Jo would like to thank everyone who helped and supported this event.

“The very enjoyable evening started with a delicious hot meal prepared by our catering committee, headed by Sally Irons.”

The proceeds will be divided between Penny Brohn Cancer Care and St Peter’s Hospice.
