VISITING hours at Clevedon’s hospital have been changed to give people more time to see their loved ones.
From February 1, patients’ friends and family will be able to visit the hospital in Old Street between 3-5pm and 6.30-8pm, compared with the current times of 2-3pm and 6-7pm.
Hospital manager Jan Huckle said: “Feedback had been received that the current visiting times were restrictive and did not provide enough flexibility for relatives and friends who wish to visit their loved ones who are on the inpatients unit.
“Bench-marking with other local community hospitals confirmed that other hospitals offer two periods of two hour visiting throughout every 24 hour period.”
