Hope in the Square

HUNDREDS of families flocked to Queens Square in Clevedon for live music, games and crafts.

Churches Together in Clevedon put on the action-packed day which boasted a bouncy castle, face painting, manicures, shoe shining, skittles and duck fishing.

Those with a sweet tooth could dip treats into the tempting chocolate fountain, while the church youth group served ice creams and other volunteers offered coffees, home-made cakes and samples of international food from Korea, Wales and Jamaica.

Revellers could also enjoy the live music and games which were held on the stage and the event proved to be a huge success for people of all ages.

This is the fourth year the event has been held and almost 100 volunteers helped to put on the festivities.
