ART historians charting the life of a well-known artist hope Clevedon residents can help in their quest for information
Doris Brabham-Hatt was well-known for her time spent living in Clevedon when, in 1932, she had a modern, art-deco house built on the town’s hillside.
Born in 1890, Doris was a strong communist who not only painted but was also a wood carver.
Her life and work are currently being charted by Somerset art historians Denys and Angela Wilcox, who plan to hold an exhibition about her.
Anyone with memories or details about Doris’ life in Clevedon can call Angela on 01984 639969.
