THE police helicopter was out over Clevedon last night (Thurs) after reports of a teenager in distress.
At about 10.10pm, officers were called by someone concerned for the welfare of a 16-year-old who was near to Yeo Moor Primary School in Kennaway Road.
Enquiries were carried out in the area and the helicopter was used to look for the girl.
She was found and returned home safe and well at 11.30pm.
