Inspirational mum Heidi Loughlin celebrated the launch of her debut book at a Portishead pub this week.

The immensely popular online blogger has written about her battle with cancer and the death of her daughter in her book Heidi’s Lifeline.

Fans, friends and family flocked to The Old Mill on Thursday to pick up one of the first copies of her new book.

The former police officer learned she had inflammatory breast cancer while pregnant with her third child, Ally Louise.

Ally was born premature and died days later, only for Heidi to then be told her cancer was terminal.

She has defied doctors’ predictions, though, with experimental treatment keeping the cancer at bay.

Heidi’s blog Storm In A Tit Cup has been read by millions across the globe, and the 36-year-old said sharing her experiences with others has been a ‘lifeline’ – hence the book’s name.

The book, priced £9.99, is on sale at SoleLution, in High Street.
