A man, who may 'appear depressed', has gone missing, prompting a police search in North Somerset.

Haydn Humphries, who is known to many as Tom, was last seen in the Park Road area of Congresbury yesterday afternoon (Wednesday).

An Avon and Somerset Constabulary spokesman said: “It is thought he may have travelled to the Worle area of Weston-super-Mare, possibly Worlebury Hill.

“Tom is described as white man, about 5ft 9ins tall of slim build, with short straight light brown coloured hair.

“He has a full tattoo down his right arm.

“When he went missing he was thought to be wearing a blue-coloured top, jeans and black DC-style black training shoes with distinctive yellow laces.”

Police say 35-year-old Tom ‘may appear a little depressed or withdrawn’.

The spokesman added: “We would appeal to anyone out walking or with their dogs in the Worlebury Hill, Sand Bay and nearby areas to keep a lookout for Tom.

“We would like him, or anyone spotting him to contact us, quoting 5217284668.”
