A BLACK tie ball will be held next month to raise money for Help for Heroes.

The event has been organised by Paul Hughes, from Clevedon, whose three brothers all serve in the army.

To be held at the Congresbury hotel, Doubletree by Hilton at Cadbury House on October 19, the evening will include a three-course meal, a live band, a bagpipe player and entertainment as well as a fundraising auction and raffle.

Paul’s brother, Kim Hughes, who has received The George Cross for his work in bomb disposal, will be the speaker.

Tickets for the event, which starts at 7.30pm, are £35 and are available from Paul on 07792 189543.
