BUS passengers are being asked how links between Nailsea and Bristol can be improved.
Nailsea bus services are due to receive a cash boost through the Department for Transport’s Local Sustainable Transport Fund and changes will be implemented in the summer.
North Somerset Council is encouraging people in Nailsea, Backwell and Wraxall to attend consultation events at Nailsea Library, Somerset Square, on February 11 from 12.30-5pm and from 9.30am-12.30pm on February 14, or people can take part online at www.n-somerset.gov.uk/nailseabuses
Cllr Elfan Ap Rees, the council’s executive member for public transport said: “The consultation results will be shared during the tender process.
“The successful bid will need to have a strong business case and demonstrate that the views of local people have been taken into account.”
