KNITTING fans clicked their needles for charity as they made crazy hats to support Age UK Somerset.
Women turned up to the sponsored knit-a-thon to create little hats for Innocent smoothie bottles.
The scheme has been supported by Sainsbury’s and 25p for each hat made in the area will go to Age UK Somerset.
Age UK Somerset has received hundreds of hats so far and knitting enthusiasts can still drop the miniature hats to the Age UK charity shop in Clevedon or to Pill Resource Centre, in Baltic Place, by October.
