A professional golfer auctioned off his signed golf bag to raise money for Children's Hospice South West (CHSW).

Chris, who currently plays on the European Tour, listed the bag he used in the 2016 Ryder Cup in Hazeltine on eBay.

The bag was signed by the entire European Ryder Cup Team, including Rory McIlroy and Sergio Garcia.

The winning bid was £5,100 which was generously matched by eBay, taking the total to £10,200 for the Wraxall charity.

Chris has always been a supporter of CHSW which supports children suffering from life-limiting connditions.

He visited Charlton Farm to hand over the bag to fundraiser Oly Slym, who said: “We are very grateful to Chris for donating such a wonderful piece of sporting memorabilia.

“Families can be supported by Charlton Farm from diagnosis right through bereavement and beyond and donations such as these allow us to continue this vital care.”
