CHILDREN at St Peter’s Primary School in Portishead are clearing out their cupboards for the school’s biggest toy sale of the year.

The winter sale that takes place on November 6 is a chance for members of the public to sell any unwanted toys and games with 25 per cent of the proceeds going to school and 75 per cent to the seller.

Organiser Claire Taylor said: “This is an opportunity for everyone to have a good sort out, make some extra cash for Christmas and bag some great bargains, all in one afternoon.”

The event will be held in the school hall in Hallett’s Way at 2pm but goods can be taken into school from 3pm on November 5 or on the Saturday morning ahead of the event.

Sellers forms can obtained now by calling Claire on 01275 399779 or visiting the school office.
