ALCOHOL will soon be on sale at a Clevedon petrol station following the approval of a premises licence.
Morrisons applied to North Somerset Council for permission to sell alcohol from its garage and convenience store in Old Church Road.
Some concerns were raised by residents about the potential for increased noise and antisocial behaviour as a result.
However, on Thursday, the authority’s licensing sub committee approved the application, meaning alcohol can now be sold between 6am-11.30pm every day.
