Families flocked to a celebration of village life.
Hundreds headed to Backwell Fair, at the village playing fields, on June 9 for a day of fun in the sun.
The charity event, celebrating 90 years since the playing fields opened, raised £466.84 for the Backwell Playing Fields Charity (BPFC) which owns and maintains the site.
The day featured a myriad of activities including a children's fancy dress competition, a performance from theatre group AliCat, and a demonstration by Backwell Judo Club, as well as a tug-of-war competition and numerous stalls.
A spokesman for BPFC said: "People assume it's a council amenity, but the event was a chance for villagers to appreciate the history and contribution, the playing fields make to the community.
"There was a lovely, friendly atmosphere on the day, and we were thrilled to see so many people enjoying the playing fields."
