There were more treats than tricks in North Somerset this year as Halloween was celebrated in colourful and scary ways.
Fancy dress costumes were worn by people young and old as the creepy season was marked in flamboyant style.
One of the bigger events held last week was in Clevedon, with the Friends of Herbert Gardens holding its usual fright night spectacular.
Zombies, werewolves and creepy clowns were among the sights on show on October 30.
Children at The Nursery, in Portishead, also celebrated Halloween.
The preschoolers dressed up for a witches and wizards' day.
The open air pool also encouraged visitors to come dressed in Halloween costumes, with families making the most of the half-term break to enjoy the facilities.
Businesses, including Venga, Reeds Rains and Home Bargains, also decorated their stores.
