Almost 100 people enjoyed a scrumptious tea event in Clevedon.

Clevedon Lions' harvest tea was held on October 20 and saw scores of people enjoy good company, food and drink.

The event is organised every year for senior citizens by the Lions, and visitors got to attend it free of charge.

A Lions spokesman said: "The harvest tea was attended by Clevedon Lions, who served high tea to around 90 of our senior citizens as they met up with old friends and made new ones.

"Town councillors David Shopland and Ann Shopland also joined us for an enjoyable afternoon.

"The Rock Choir, from Weston, provided excellent choral entertainment at the end of tea."

The event last week was held at Princes Hall.
