COMMUNITY groups interested in planting trees and developing woodlands can go along to some free workshops in Nailsea to find out more.

A Green Connect 2 event is being held at Golden Valley School, in Nailsea Park, on October 6 from 10am-3.30pm.

The Forestry Commission, Woodland Trust, Silvanus Trust and Forest School will be running workshops on the day and there will also be a tour of Trendlewood Park.

Refreshments will be provided but people attending are asked to take their own lunch as well as suitable clothing. To book a place email karenh@green-space.co.uk
