DESIGNATED drivers can enjoy free soft drinks at The Poacher in Portishead High Street over the Christmas and new year period.
Landlady Zoe Evans and her staff are working in partnership with the Portishead police team to help promote responsible driving.
Designated drivers should ask at the bar about how to take advantage of the offer.
PCSO Deborah Charman said: “Drivers should be in no doubt that if they get behind the wheel after drinking this Christmas, they risk losing their license, facing a fine and even a prison sentence.
“Christmas should be a time for a celebration not a night in the cells so our message is clear, don’t drink and drive.”
