A thrill-seeking octogenarian will tick a challenge off her bucket list when she is strapped to the wings of a plane to raise money for Weston Hospicecare.
Reyna Knight, aged 82, is taking part in a wing-walk on June 21 at Rendcomb Airfield in Gloucestershire.
Reyna - who has already tried paragliding and wind surfing and used to be a keen rally car driver - is looking forward to taking on her latest pursuit and wants to raise £800 for the hospice.
She said: "I've always wanted to do a wing-walk.
"And this is just another challenge to tick off my bucket list.
"I don't feel nervous about doing it, but I am hoping they don't do a loop the loop.
"Not only is a wing-walk something thrilling to do, it's raising money for a great charity which supports the local community."
Reyna is a familiar face around Portishead having represented the town while serving on North Somerset Council.
