A MAN was taken to hospital with multiple wounds following an incident in Portishead in the early hours.
At 1.30am today (Sat), police and ambulance crews were called to a flat in Glebe Avenue, where a man in his 20s had suffered multiple trauma wounds.
He was taken by ambulance to Frenchay Hospital, where he was rushed straight into theatre for an operation. His current condition is unknown.
Following the incident, police cordoned off the property and throughout much of today forensic officers have been inside the property as well as in its garden.
It is not yet known what happened inside the flat but it is understood police may have arrested someone in connection with the incident.
