More than 120 people turned up to the event to mark the success of Nailsea and District Footpath Group.

Members and former walkers enjoyed photos, stories and videos from the past 40 years.

Since it was set up by Peter Weaver, the club has gone from strength to strength and now has nearly 200 members.

Founder member, Judy Hall, was presented with a vase on the night for her dedication over the years in leading a number of walks and serving as chairman.

She is the only founder member still involved with the club.
