Green-fingered enthusiasts will show-off their best home-grown produce at the event.

The Long Ashton Horticultural Society will give-out awards for the best flowers, vegetables, cakes and more on the day.

People can also enter ceramic or glass, black and white pictures and collages for a chance to win accolades.

Winners from last year's event include Eve Johnson's floating flower heads, Joseph's Taylor's pig made from garden produce and Lucy Galloway's colourful drawing.

Children who entered the competition also made inventive creations, including a whale made from cucumber, a pottery horse head and detailed lego structures.

The show will be held at Long Ashton Village Hall, in Keedwell Hill, on Saturday afternoon from 2.30-5pm.
